Welcome To Our Corner!!!

Time flies when you are having fun!  It is the end of the first semester and we are ready for a fun and relaxing winter break.  We are continuing to read lots of different and exciting books, learning parts of speech, increasing our writing proficiency, as well as working on our math skills by adding with regrouping numbers, multipying two digit numbers, and solving word problems.  In science we are experimenting with thermometers.  We will make snow this month...as long as we can remember how cold it has to be.  In social studies we are covering different types of land, such as forrests and deserts, and what kind of animals, plants, and homes you can find in these areas.

Mr. Venable and I would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukkah, Happy Kwanza, and a Happy New Year.  Thank you for all of your support so far this school year!  We could not teach our precious children without you!
